Cloning One Line of a Quote from within a Quote
Cloning enables you to create new quotes using the data from existing quotes. This can be a great time-saver, especially if the quote is complex or must be created on a regular basis.
To clone all lines of an existing quote, do the following:

From the Quote List, locate the desired line. |

On the right side of the Quote List, look for the quote to clone and click the Clone Opp button located any of the row of the quote.
The Add Opportunity window opens, and populates all information (except the Sales out (To) and comments fields) from the existing quote. |

If you clone a multiline
quote, but do not want to include all lines of
the existing quote, identify the line number(s)
to remove, then at the bottom of the page, click the Remove
Lines button.

Click the Submit button. The Quote Information section of the form will display the new Opportunity ID. |

Click the Return button to return to the Quote List. |

The Add Opportunity window opens, and populates all information (except the Sales out (To) and comments fields) from the existing quote. |

To clone an individual line of an existing multiline quote, do the following:

From the Quote List, locate the line you want to clone. |

On the right side of the Quote List, locate the line to clone and click the Clone Line button.
The Add Opportunity window opens, and populates all information (except the Sales out (To) and comments fields) from the existing quote. |

Make changes to the information as needed. For example, the Sales Out (From) and Sales Out (To) might need to be changed. |

Click the Submit button.
The Quote Information section of the form will display
the new Opportunity ID. |

Click the Return button to return to the Quote List. |
To clone an individual line of an existing multiline quote, do the following:

Open the quote and move to the Quote Information, section of the line you want to clone. |

Click the [Clone] link located to the right of the Quote ID.

A popup window opens, prompting you to confirm cloning the line. Click the OK button.

The Add Opportunity window opens, and populates all information (except the Sales out (To) and comments fields) from the existing quote. |
